NTPI Mission:
To prepare the Nation's civilian and military first responders to survive and mitigate the consequences of terrorist use of weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
NTPI Vision:
To be a recognized center of excellence for first responder weapons of mass destruction training through its professional staff, interagency partnerships, quality curriculum, and dynamic instructional methods.

NTPI Student Body:
The First Responder in all WMD events is our client. This is not limited to traditional responders (police, fire and emergency medical technicians). In an unannounced bio-weapons incident, hospitals, clinics and doctors' offices will become the first responders. Other responders that need to be included in this group must include electrical and water utilities and public works.

NTPI Training Philosophy:
All training will be interactive, current and use the latest in instructional technology to increase its impact and cost effectiveness. Our goal is to drive all of our courses with scenarios and to have performance oriented exercises to emphasize key teaching points. Providing quality training to our students is our only concern. We will provide our courses or our curriculum to any authorized agency. Our courses are not proprietary. Any materials that we develop are in the public domain and will be turned over to any local, state or federal agency on request. Some of our materials are not for the general public and should be treated as "Law Enforcement Confidential."
